I read that canon has restricted the ability to view shutter count on newer rebels a while back. Are there any newer software that overcame canon's restriction?

I think someone on here posted this a while back......the Astro Photography Tool has a shutter count as part of the program.
I tried it and it works with the 6D. You might give it a go and see if it works with your T6i.​/astro/Default.aspx
